AgTrust Farm Credit is also a customer-owned cooperative, as a cooperative, most of our borrowers become stockholders. AgTrust has paid out over $184 million in patronage dividends to eligible stockholders over the past 10 years. This lowers your effective interest rate and is an added benefit of doing business with us. We are owned by our stockholder borrowers and governed by a local board of directors composed mostly of customers and elected by our stockholders.
