The Parker County Historical Commission (PCHC) is a branch of local county government whose purpose is to initiate and conduct programs suggested by commissioners court and the Texas Historical Commission (THC) for the preservation of the county's historic cultural resources.  That includes resource identification of historic buildings and other historical sites and endangered properties.

PCHD since November '06 provides Parker County with indigent care,primary care through its rural health clinic, Campbell Clinic, 1517 Texas Dr., and the county-wide EMS service, Life Care EMS.  The district also provides flu & children's immunizations county-wide and free mommagrams for poor or uninsured women.
