Caritas Family Solutions is a nonprofit social services agency that works to meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of vulnerable people in Southern Illinois, from before birth through the golden years. We believe our community is strengthened when every person in it has a loving home and can create healthy relationships.

What We Do

  • We are a hands-on organization that provides real, in-person care and services to people who need to get out of an unhealthy situation and into a healing environment.
  • We match babies and children to parents wanting to adopt. We provide pregnancy care to women who choose adoption.
  • We care for children the state removes from abusive homes and place them with our personally-selected and vetted foster parents. If a child has experienced too much trauma to be successful in foster care, we care for them personally at St. John Bosco Children’s Center.
  • When families struggle and are on the edge of falling apart, we work to heal them, keeping their children in the home.
  • We help low-income seniors find assisted living where they can enjoy community.
  • We help developmentally disabled adults live with dignity and independence in homes within our communities.

The mission of the Catholic Children's Home is to aid, protect, and care for the needs, education, and welfare of dependent, neglected, abused or otherwise hurting children and families without regard to poverty, riches, race, religion, or national origin. ·

  • More than 100 years of caring.
  • Established in 1879 by the Precious Blood Sisters of Ruma, Illinois.
  • Continuing mission of attending to all needs of children in care away from their home.
  • Dynamic programming, updated to best meet the changing needs of communities and families.
  • Future programs planned to provide answers for more children in crisis.

Churches on the Streets is a faith-based, 501(c)3, nonprofit organization since 2013.   They are a collaboration of people who love God and believe according to His word that we're to help the poor, the lost, and the hurting. They do not have a building, they are the church in action. They help not only the homeless and the hurting but their focus is also ministering to children in vulnerable communities, human trafficking rescue and restore education, and disaster relief across the country.

Monday nights: Meet downtown St. Louis to feed, provide survival necessities, and bring hope to those homeless. 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Email for more information at ChurchesontheStreets@gmail.com.

Thursday nights: They also have an evangelistic outreach in the Alton, Illinois area every Thursday from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. They feed a hot meal, encourage, pray with, and minister to people in tough times. Email for meeting address at ChurchesontheStreets@gmail.com.

Churches on the Streets ministers to children in Alton in two government housing neighborhoods on Saturdays, every second and fourth Saturday of the month. We bring Sunday School to them, play games, make crafts, feed a meal and much more throughout the year.

Human Trafficking Rescue and Restore educational workshops: We offer free workshops to teach indicators to look for and how to be a part of the solution. Contact Angela Valdes at 618-558-6433 for more information and to schedule. Or to speak at your conference as a keynote speaker or for a breakout session.

Disaster relief: Providing supplies and ministry after natural disasters including tornados, flooding and hurricanes.

Colman's Country Campers was founded in 1991. Since then the business has grown from only a few travel trailers on a grass field to one of the largest dealerships in the state of Illinois. We attribute our success in a large part to our motto which is "Where Customers Become Friends".

Hi! I'm Lori - otherwise known as Lolly Really, all you need to know about me is that I LOVE food! I love thinking about food. I love cooking food. I love talking about food. Plain and simple... I love everything about food. I've always said that the kitchen is my Happy Place. My husband and I have enjoyed cooking together for nearly 30 years - socializing with our family and friends. Before that, I learned to cook from the amazing women in my family. And now, cooking for YOU is my business! When I'm not making food for my clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dogs - usually grilling up something delicious in our outdoor kitchen. By now, you may have guessed that I spend a LOT of time searching for and trying out new recipes. Yes, this is my passion! You see, I’m the type of person who wakes up thinking about the next great dish. While eating breakfast, I’m already wondering what we’re going to have for dinner that night. Or I may be pondering what I could prepare if we were to host a party.

For 34 years, CHC has been helping people in difficult circumstances by providing food, clothing, and other basic needs while also cultivating hope through sincere caring and ongoing support. We believe that God designed us for community – we all have needs and we all have gifts to share. For us, ultimate success is when our guests begin to thrive and join us in helping others find hope.
