Bakers & Hale is a locally owned and operated restaurant that opened in August 2018. The ownership group consists of many members of the Baker family (and their spouses) which originates out of Shipman, IL. Kelsi Baker Walden had a dream of opening a restaurant and her family stepped in to support making that dream become a reality.

We are proud to be one of the only farm to table restaurants in the St. Louis Metro East – located on the north end of Godfrey, IL. Not only do we purchase the freshest of ingredients from local suppliers, we also have our own garden on site where we grow many of our own vegetables and herbs (tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, cucumbers, chives, basil, dill, oregano, and more). The only freezer at our restaurant is the size of your standard home refrigerator. By using only fresh ingredients, our plates are full of flavor and will leave a lasting impression on your group wanting to return for more!

Founded in 2016 by Elizabeth Werts. Brush has been a labor of love. Our beautiful salon has been meticulously designed and styled for a luxurious, relaxing experience as you are placed in the skilled hands of our highly trained, passionate, and creative hair stylists and makeup artists, who you can meet here.      

Homemade baked favorites -- cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake, and fudge brownies -- plus seasonal favorites including pulled pork, holiday pies, and fresh pecans. Owner, JoDell Langdon, has perfected her recipes over years of restaurant and catering experience. Now you can enjoy these unique and delicious flavors every week! Hi! I'm Lori - otherwise known as Lolly Really, all you need to know about me is that I LOVE food! I love thinking about food. I love cooking food. I love talking about food. Plain and simple... I love everything about food. I've always said that the kitchen is my Happy Place. My husband and I have enjoyed cooking together for nearly 30 years - socializing with our family and friends. Before that, I learned to cook from the amazing women in my family. And now, cooking for YOU is my business! When I'm not making food for my clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dogs - usually grilling up something delicious in our outdoor kitchen. By now, you may have guessed that I spend a LOT of time searching for and trying out new recipes. Yes, this is my passion! You see, I’m the type of person who wakes up thinking about the next great dish. While eating breakfast, I’m already wondering what we’re going to have for dinner that night. Or I may be pondering what I could prepare if we were to host a party.

I am a proud member of the Wood River community where I serve on our local Rotary Club and as a board member of Operation Blessing. Our branch team also supports the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's, a cause that is close to our hearts. Outside of the office, I am a big fan of our local professional baseball team. Go Cardinals!
