Hearts Up For Cancer is my way of killing this disease with kindness.  No matter how many good/bad days I had endured, I fought like a girl through it all and came out on top at the end of my Peachy Brick Road all while wearing my Ruby Slippers and spreading love

MVEF serves our students with scholarships, our teachers with grants and supports all MVISD faculty and staff.

Restore is a 501(c)3 organization, so your donations & memorials are tax-deductible according IRS guidelines.

Restore will aid people throughout Medina County and in the Pearsall & Sabinal areas who have experienced or are experiencing Sexual-Related Trauma (SRT). These traumas include unwanted pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth, sexual abuse / assault, post-abortion trauma and STDs / STIs.

Restore will provide FREE pregnancy tests and ultrasound exams. These can be used to provide verification for Medicaid coverage (most other facilities charge a fee for ultrasound exams).

Restore will assist women and their partners (if involved) first by listening, then by exploring with them the options available to them. Women / couples who choose to parent their baby will be provided parenting classes and be connected with local resources including the Medicaid application process, WIC (Women, Infants & Children), housing (if needed) and information on area OB / GYNs and hospitals. They will have access to maternity and baby clothes closets, job skills training, breastfeeding support, and material items such as car seats, cribs, etc.

Women / couples who choose to select a loving home for their baby through adoption will be assisted in connecting with adoption agencies who can facilitate their choice. Volunteers will offer encouragement and support throughout their pregnancy, the adoption process and afterward.

Restore will offer support for people who have suffered the loss of a child through miscarriage or stillbirth with compassion and understanding. We have volunteers who have experienced miscarriage, and others who personally know the heartbreak that comes with a stillbirth, and they will be specially trained to assist our clients. Sharing their suffering with someone who has experienced the same loss can often help couples or mothers navigate their feelings following such a trauma.

Restore will offer support for people who have suffered sexual assault or abuse. Our trained staff will have the experience necessary to compassionately walk alongside these people – youth & adult, male or female – and help them to heal from their trauma.

Restore will offer support for people who have or are experiencing post-abortion trauma. What may have seemed like the answer to their unwanted pregnancy often becomes a life-long trauma for both women and men. Our trained volunteers will have the ability to assist these clients in healing and forgiveness.

Restore needs volunteers! Please consider donating your time, talents & treasures to this effort. We need hands to help with office work, promotions, fundraising, mentoring, supporting our clients and more.
