As a Pest and Lawn Technician, you will be able to service all structural pests, but can also become a specialist in termite, weeds, and/or lawn and ornamental services. Specialist services have higher pay and greater opportunity for advancement. A current license is preferred, but we are willing to train so that a license can be obtained. Our Pest and Lawn Technicians perform the following:
1. Operate and maintain vehicle and pest control equipment, including truck, powered spray rig, powered duster, hand tools, and push spreader.
2. Use personal protective equipment – e.g. gloves, dust mask, respirator, safety glasses, coveralls, etc.
3. Identify target pests, lawn diseases and treatment options.
4. Recordkeeping and reporting.
5. Utilize scheduling software.
6. Sell as-needed services to existing, new, and potential clients. You are not required to make sales, but you should be able to effectively communicate our services to all customers.
7. Complete licensing training and continuing education requirements.
8. Additional routine and non-routine tasks necessary to support the company business.
