THEATRE OFF THE SQUARE IN WEATHERFORD proudly presents the next production of 2018 and their 19^th Season of Shows. Agnes of God is written by John Pielmeier and produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. The drama is directed by Seth Williams, with Manny Garcia as Assistant Director and Cameron Cutshall as Stage Manager. The Weatherford High School theatre student intern is Jade Hebbert (Director’s Intern). The show dates are weekends, July 20 – August 5.

Summoned to a convent, Dr. Martha Livingstone, a court-appointed psychiatrist, is charged with assessing the sanity of a novice accused of murdering her newborn. Miriam Ruth, the Mother Superior, determinedly keeps young Agnes from the doctor, further arousing Livingstone’s suspicions. Who killed the infant, and who fathered the tiny victim? Livingstone’s questions force all three women to re-examine the meaning of faith and the power of love, leading to a dramatic, compelling climax. 

A hit on Broadway and later on film.

This show includes some language and intense subject matter. Not recommended for kids.

Members of the cast are: Judi Conger as Doctor Martha Livingstone; Jaclyn Justice as Mother Miriam Ruth; and Jennifer Brown as Agnes.

Attend an afternoon or evening of entertainment beginning Friday, July 20, and running weekends through Sunday, August 5. Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm. Theatre Off The Square, the only live theatre in Parker County, is located at 114 North Denton Street, Weatherford.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for seniors (60+)/students/children under school age. Matinee tickets are $12 for all ages and no other discounts apply. The theatre Box Office is open from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm Thursday evenings to purchase tickets and to reserve seats. Groups of 10 or more may reserve seating with prepaid admission of $13 per person on Fridays and Saturdays and $11 per person on Sundays.

Join us Saturday in downtown Weatherford, Saturday, July 21st, in the cool atmosphere of the Painted Pony Tea Room at 109 N. Main St for a great from scratch dinner/dessert while being entertained by a live cast of characters from the 1800's! There'll be singing, dancing, humor and intrigue while you try to figure out WHO dunnit! "A Peachy Demise on Pony Trail" is our newest show, named especially for Peach Festival! If you can't make it on the 21st, we have new/different shows twice a month, on-going!  Doors open at 6 PM, dinner is served at 6:30, and the show starts at 7. For children who have completed grades 1-8

Learn a musical in one week! Performance on Friday evening. Tuition includes camp t-shirt, lunch each day, outing to Splash Kingdom on Wednesday, music CD and all camp supplies.

Activities Include: choir, choreography, Bible Study and small group activities, music theory, and specialty classes. Specialty Classes may include: Drama, Hand Chimes, Sign Language, Recorders, Interpretive Movement, and Rockin’ Rhythms.

Noize Camp is for children and teenagers who've completed kindergarten through 12th grade. We teach them how to use their God-given creative gifts and talents to worship Him and lead others in worship. They will learn to worship through art, dance, drama and singing. We also offer a one-hour extended care option for an additional fee. At the end of camp, we hold a Noize Night of Worship where we showcase everything we learned!
