The Parker County Extension Education Association
invites everyone to the 17th Annual “Home for the Holidays”, on
Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The fun will take place
at Couts Memorial United Methodist Church in the gym, located in Weatherford at
802 North Elm Street.
Home for the Holidays is a wonderful event filled with
holiday tips and ideas to help get you into that Holiday Spirit. There will be special
presentations and demonstrations by local speakers including: Judy’s Creations
by Judy Leonard; Cheap Gift Ideas by Alinda Cox, Jack County Extension Agent; Christmas
Cookie Decorating by Margaret Avery; Christmas Bow Making by Antoinette Reed
and Not just your Ordinary Gifts in a Jar by Tanya Davis, Wise County Extension
Agent.
Home for the Holidays will include a festive lunch. There
will be recipe and idea books for everyone, a raffle table, club gift tables,
and a silent auction, door prizes and much more.
The cost to attend will be $12.00 per person. This will
include lunch, program materials and recipes.
Tickets are available from Extension Education
Association Members and the Parker County Extension Office. You may all call to
reserve you space. Onsite registration will also be available. For more
