Peace, Love and Milagros: Life Lessons From the Road

During his thirty-something years road-tripping around Texas, Steven has collected great stories about horticultural heavens, botanical blunders, and tender tales that will melt your heart. Steven has brought his favorite stories together for a very personal presentation of inspiration, enlightenment, and humor.

Explore the Estate gardens of famed British portrait artist Douglas Chandor. Discover for yourself....a special place that blends the classic elegance of the traditional English garden with the dramatic design and bold features of Chinese gardens.  

Social Hour and Picnic: 6pm - 7pm            Lecture: 7pm 

$35.00 per person. Food provided by Shep's Place Food Truck. Wine, beer, and beverages included.

This program is designed for adults 60 and older, but all are welcome to attend, regardless of age.

4-week program, meeting on the following Mondays, 1:30 - 2:30 pm each date:

Those interested in auditioning should be prepared to attend all 3 days if necessary.

May 1: Singing Audition – Songs may be from the musical or in the style of the musical. Please bring a backing track on cd or mobile device as no accompanist will be available. Please have the entire song prepared if asked.

May 2: Dance Audition – Those called back from the previous night will learn a combination for auditions. Note: Some roles will be REQUIRED to tap, including Sandra Bloom.

May 3: Cold Read – Those called back from the previous night will be asked to cold read from the script.

Rehearsal Dates: May 29, 2017 – August 3, 2017

Performance Dates: Weekends, August 4 – 20, 2017
