Believe In Tomorrow Children's House by the Sea provides respite housing for critically ill children and their families. We believe that keeping families together during this time of crisis can have a tremendous impact on the healing process. We provide an all expenses paid opportunity for families to relax, renew and make lasting memories. Our programs and opportunities for families are depending on generous donations from our community. Ninety-five percent (95%!) of every dollar donated goes directly to our programs. We hold numerous fundraing events throughout the year: Gala by the Sea, Secrets Beach Bash, Annual Golf Classic, 5K and more. We help critically ill children and their families believe in hope, joy and the promise of tomorrow. You may not know these children, but the impact you can make in their lives is monumental!

The Recovery Resource Center is a non-profit dedicated to addressing the recovery needs of those who struggle with addiction and their loved ones.

Often, the journey towards recovery begins at an inpatient or outpatient facility.  After completing clinical treatment, the recovering individual is looking to reintegrate back into the community. However, attending inpatient or outpatient treatment is not a requirement for recovery. Thousands of people have found that involvement in a 12-step or other recovery program has been sufficient to achieve sobriety and to live a life clean of drugs and other addictive subtances or behaviors.

At the Recovery Resource Center, we help with the reintegration of people into the community as they are learning to live a new way of life. Open 365 days a year, we provide a safe space for the recovering individual to learn valuable life skills while building a fundamental network of support.  With recovery services and educational workshops such as employment readiness, parenting classes, 12-step meetings, and various engaging activities, we are proud to stand at the center of the recovery community on the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland.

We currently host over thirty recovery meetings every week, with programs including Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, Al-Anon, and some other recovery groups that are not 12-step based.  Anual meeting attendance averages 42,000 people.  Along with hosting meetings, we offer various educational workshops including financial literacy, budgeting, credit repair, and employment readiness. Our Activities Committee hosts multiple Sober Social Events every year including barbecues, dances, and holiday parties.

Our recovery services are open to all, including friends and family of people in addiction or recovery.

The RRC is home to Wicomico County's SAFE STATION, open 24 hours a day/7 days a week.  The SAFE STATION is run in partnership with the Wicomico County Health Department and is staffed by Wicomico County's Community Outreach Addictions Team (COAT).

Since 1996, the RRC has been an Agency Partner with the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore.  We also receive support from The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore. Private and public donors are the majority of our source of income to be able to provide free services our guests.
