Tim Ross directs and oversees all aspects of the Occupational Health Division Operations in a position he has held since 2005. His operation involves 220+ team members, 15 clinic locations (including occupational health, urgent care, special near site clinics, and dedicated company/employer clinics). These facilities are over four counties. His division also includes Employee Health Services for five hospitals with over 7,500 health system employees. Under his direction, Franciscan’s occupational health program achieved ISO (International Organization of Standards) Certification Award in 2010 for all eight clinic locations, the first free-standing occupational health program to receive this certification in the world. In addition, Franciscan’s clinics have gone through the NAOHP (National Association of Occupational Health Professionals) Certification Program since 2008. Franciscan’s occupational health program was the first to receive this certification in Indiana and has been rated among the best in the nation. Tim’s other achievements include owner of NAOHP from 2016-2020, during which he was responsible for all operations of this national organization, increasing membership and conference attendance by an average of 20 to 30 percent annually. Tim has been elected as Washington Township trustee and assessor in Porter County, serving for eight years, and is a “Level 1” Certified Indiana Assessor & Appraiser. He has served on the Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable for 20 years as an executive board member and 10 years as treasurer on the board. He has served for six years on the NIPSCO Community Advisory Panel. Tim and his wife, Cindy, have been married for 20 years and have five children.
