Linfield University is an independent, nonprofit university with campuses in McMinnville and Portland. Founded in 1858, the university is nationally recognized for its strong teaching faculty, distinctive international emphasis and commitment to diversity. Today, Linfield University offers 56 majors through an integrated curriculum that combines liberal arts, sciences and select professional disciplines. Linfield competes in the NCAA Division III Northwest Conference, named the #1 private collegiate athletic program by Niche in 2020. Linfield University is home to the Wildcats and the winningest football program in the country with 64 consecutive winning seasons.
