Before opening Joe Tamm State Farm, I worked in the Finance industry at GE. My experience at my insurance office has taught me how to provide the right protection for our customers, ranging from car insurance, home insurance, renter’s insurance, life insurance, boat insurance, motorcycle insurance, atv insurance, rv insurance, business insurance, and financial services.

I am the silver fox MKE!  I chose that name because I have Gray Hair, which I’ve had since I was in my late thirties, and I want to embrace my age.  I also want to acknowledge my extensive experience in search engine optimization.

I have been involved in SEO for 15 years. My first experience with SEO was when I was a marketing communications manager at a local software manufacturer.  After a few months, I decided to make a career switch and took an entry level job with a Digital Marketing Agency that specialized on SEO for manufacturers.  After four years, I worked my way up to the agency’s senior SEO specialist.  This was a great experience as I got to work on numerous websites as well as working directly with website developers on building new websites. 

I consider myself to be an expert in search engine optimization.  I am sure that there are others who know more than me when it comes to Google, but I pride myself on doing the following.  An SEO expert is someone who dedicates themselves full-time to search engine optimization. In addition to helping their clients’ websites perform better on Google, Bing, and other search engines, they are active in SEO communities, since trends and best practices are ever-evolving. A search engine optimization expert is usually adept at a variety of technical and non-technical skills including keyword research, website management, website optimization, on-page, and off-page techniques as well as analytics analysis.
