DRIPPING SPRINGS, TEXAS – August 21, 2024: It’s almost time to ring in the holiday season with Christmas On Mercer, one of Dripping Springs’ favorite traditions! This year, the event will be shining in all its holiday glory as it celebrates its 20th year on Saturday, December 7.
Hosted by the Dripping Springs Lions Club and the City of Dripping Springs, the downtown festivities will feature an old-fashioned holiday celebration on Mercer Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with live music and entertainment, arts and crafts booths, kid’s games and activities, photos with Santa Claus, and a festive selection of food and drinks. This year, to extend the festivities, the annual Lighting of the Tree will be held the Saturday before, November 30th, at dusk at Veterans Memorial Park in Downtown Dripping Springs. This year, the Lions Club and City of Dripping Springs will be unveiling a new tree!
In celebration of its 20th year, Christmas on Mercer is thrilled to announce the launch of its newly branded logo. This vibrant and whimsical update reflects the event’s continued commitment to bringing the holiday spirit to the community. The updated logo will be prominently featured across all event materials, including promotional content and digital platforms. This rebranding marks a significant milestone as Christmas on Mercer prepares for its most magical season yet!

All the money raised will pay for the event or go back to the community through various Lions Club programs. Admission to Christmas on Mercer is free due to the many sponsors and donors who generously provide festival security, sanitation, barricades, trash pick-up and other services for the event.
