We may be in the middle of the sizzling summer heat, but cool plans are underway at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. Following the incredible success of its debut season, Western Wonderland is returning for its second momentous year, bringing even more festive cheer and community spirit to Dripping Springs!
Opening on November 27, 2024, and running through January 5, 2025, Dripping Springs Ranch Park will once again transform into a sparkling holiday paradise, offering residents and visitors alike the perfect spot to enjoy the magic of the holiday season. This year promises to be even more spectacular with the return of the largest outdoor ice rink in Central Texas, new themed nights, a bigger Trail of Lights and exciting activities and events. This year’s Western Wonderland will include:
Ice Skating Rink: Glide and twirl under the twinkling lights on the largest outdoor ice-skating rink in Central Texas! Whether you're a pro or a beginner, the rink is perfect for everyone to enjoy the cool, crisp air and holiday tunes. And best of all, it’s outdoors but covered, so weather is never an issue!
Trail of Lights: Wander through Western Wonderland’s enchanting Trail of Lights, a dazzling display that will put you in the spirit of the season. With sparkling lights, whimsical scenes, and holiday characters, this trail promises to be a highlight of visitors’ holiday season.
Festive Market: Browse the festive market filled with unique holiday gifts, delicious treats, and warm beverages. From handmade crafts to gourmet goodies, shoppers will find the perfect gifts for everyone on their lists.
Live Entertainment: Enjoy live performances from local choirs, bands, and entertainers, bringing joyful holiday music and cheer to every corner of the event.

Similar to its first year, Western Wonderland has sponsorship opportunities for local businesses and organizations to be part of this beloved community event.
According to Nelson, "The response from the public to Western Wonderland last year was amazing.
