Birmingham, Michigan, August 23, 2022 -- Are you a
Michigan-based startup with a great idea? The clock is ticking to join Dell for Startups for a free pitch competition Sept. 28, sponsored by StartupNation and DBusiness. You’ll be eligible for a share of more than $500,000 in prizes!
Eight Michigan-based startups—selected by Dell Technologies and StartupNation—will be selected to take part in the pitch competition, with two winners eligible to advance to the next round of Dell’s national competition. All participants must be available to pitch in person on Sept. 28, 2022, in Birmingham.
The first round of the pitch competition consists of a 3-minute pitch presentation with slides and Q&A. The
first-place winner receives $15,000 in Dell products through Dell Advantage
Rewards. The second-place winner (crowd favorite) receives $10,000 in Dell
products through Dell Advantage Rewards. Both advance to the next round of
pitching for a chance to win another $40K in prizes.
You must register to attend as well as register separately if you’d like to compete in the pitch event. The deadline to register to pitch is Sept. 9th.

The
competition is part of a day of networking and learning, the Dell Technologies rally truck, and more.
The first 100 attendees will receive a Dell swag bag.
Tentative schedule:
10 a.m. Meet and greet. Vendors, including Dell Financial Services and
Targus, open.
11 a.m. Introductions. The Dell rally truck, which gives entrepreneurs the
chance to interact with the latest technology, opens.
11:15 a.m. Panel presentation on small business funding with Q&A.
12:30 p.m. Break.
1-3 p.m. Pitch event. The first- and second-place winners will be announced.
3:30-5 p.m. Networking.
