A local family is one step closer to moving into a new home, as the result of a Framing Frenzy recently organized by the Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity. On Friday, June 22, team members from Dover Federal Credit Union accepted CDHH’s challenge to frame the second story of a home, in just one day. The framing frenzy erupted from the support of many able hands, and was able to be built in less than two hours by employees and board members of Dover Federal Credit Union who volunteered their time.
Founded in 1990, Central DE Habitat for Humanity has created housing solutions for over 170 adults and children. Donna Kiscaden, Dover Federal Chief Financial and Risk Officer and CDHH Board Member stated, “It is an absolute privilege to be working with Habitat for Humanity. They do so much to make a positive contribution to the neighborhood and community in which the homes are being built, while providing hope for well deserving families. Team Dover had a great time, doing what we could to help make this project a reality.
