The City of Carson proudly hosted the groundbreaking ceremony for the highly anticipated Envision Carson project, a visionary development led by Faring in partnership with Lennar. This innovative venture marked a significant step forward in redefining community living in Carson, blending housing, dining, and recreational opportunities into a transformative project.
The ceremony, held on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 21207 South Avalon Boulevard, Carson, CA 90745, brought together city officials, developers, local leaders, and community members to celebrate this monumental milestone.
The event featured remarks from Jason Illoulian, Founder & CEO of Faring, and JR Jones, VP of Land Acquisition at Lennar, who both expressed their excitement and commitment to the project. Faring and Lennar also congratulated the City of Carson, Madame Mayor Lula Davis-Holmes, and the City Council on yet another year of record surpluses and groundbreaking new projects. "As the Jewel of the South Bay continues to thrive, we’re excited to see its bright future take shape. Here’s to progress, prosperity, and a City that keeps reaching new heights!" they shared.

The Envision Carson development includes:
Nearly 800 multifamily apartment units, featuring studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts, with a portion designated for seniors and veterans.
Approximately 400 stylish townhomes offering two-, three-, and four-bedroom configurations.
10,000 square feet of vibrant restaurant spaces.
Around 112,000 square feet of publicly accessible open space, highlighted by a thoughtfully designed 23,000 square-foot park.
Attendees praised the event for showcasing how innovation and partnership can create a brighter future for Carson. Light refreshments were provided, and a complimentary shuttle service from the Carson Event Center North Parking Lot ensured convenient access for all.
