Job description for Saturday Morning Breakfast Administrative Assistant
Assistant reporting to Executive Director
Works 20 – 24 hours per week (per mutual agreement with ED and Board); works on an hourly basis @ $20 per hour
Some college education preferred, or work/life experience equivalent
Required technical skills:
MS Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Publisher)
Google Docs
Facebook; Instagram; LinkedIn – set up accounts and maintain
Can be trained with ED to maintain website
Can be trained to back-up ED on mailing and volunteer software
Can be trained to develop and maintain donor database
Taking and passing on messages
Filing and record-keeping
Desired personal attributes/skills
Has a heart for working with those we serve
Self-starter
Confident team player; can work without constant guidance but asks questions as needed
Speaks and writes well
Can be reasonably flexible with work hours for special tasks; some evening work for donor events
