The Accountant will perform a variety of duties in support of the Accounting department under the supervision of the Comptroller. Duties will include but are not limited to applying generally accepted accounting principles and procedures in working with specialist accounting records and reports, assembling and analyzing data and transactions, and preparing statements and reports. Will monitor various aspects of accounting office and journal entries. Will work with accounts payable staff, reconcile and over se inventory and fixed assets. This position will also serve as the College’ travel coordinator. This position is non-exempt with regard to FLSA overtime provisions. This position is covered by the NSCPA negotiated agreement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting/related field; or an Assoicate's degree in accounting/related field plus three years of related experience.
