Account Executive

Regular Full-Time Sales Position

Fastwyre Broadband is seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive - MDU Sales to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by building and nurturing relationships with property owners, managers, and developers within the multi-dwelling unit (MDU) sector. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth of Fastwyre’s market presence while delivering customized broadband solutions that meet the unique connectivity needs of MDU communities.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Sales & Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with MDU property owners, developers, and managers.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to market Fastwyre’s broadband services to both new and existing MDU communities.
  • Lead negotiations for agreements, including bulk service contracts and property access agreements.

 

Market Development:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential MDU customers and build a robust pipeline of sales prospects.
  • Represent Fastwyre at key industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to raise brand awareness and generate qualified leads.

 

Customized Solutions:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver tailored broadband solutions that meet the specific needs of MDU clients.
  • Partner with finance, engineering, and construction teams to ensure the seamless execution and activation of projects.

 

Sales Targets & Reporting:

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide detailed sales reports, forecasts, and account updates to management on a regular basis.

 

Customer Experience:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for MDU clients, ensuring a seamless and outstanding customer experience throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely manner, coordinating with internal departments to facilitate resolution. Knowledge, Abilities, & Skills for Success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably within telecommunications, broadband, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of the MDU sector. •
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales goals.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to comprehend technical concepts and effectively communicate them to customers as value-driven solutions.
  • Self-motivated, goal-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in the Telecom and/or Cable industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the MDU space, with a proven record of exceeding sales targets.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
