Job Description:

As a Tire Technician at Pacific Northwest Tire, you will be responsible for performing tire services across a wide range of vehicles. This role requires proficiency in various tire-related tasks, including but not limited to passenger tires, agricultural tires, and heavy-duty vehicle tires. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving the service truck and promptly responding to service calls from our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tire services on different types of vehicles, including passenger cars, agricultural machinery, and heavy-duty trucks.

  • Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires as needed.

  • Inspect tires for signs of wear, damage, or other issues.

  • Drive the service truck to customers' locations for on-site tire services.

  • Respond promptly to service calls and provide efficient solutions to customers' tire-related issues.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the service truck and equipment.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in tire services preferred.

  • Proficiency in performing tire services, including mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to drive a service truck safely and efficiently.

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy tires and perform manual labor as required.

Location: Pacific Northwest Tire | 920 HWY 99W, McMinnville, OR 

Position Type: Part-Time, 30-34 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE)
