Qualifications:
= Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
= Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
= Typing - preferred average of at least 65 WPM
= Excellent communication skills both oral and written
= Highly effective organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
= Strong reading comprehension, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
= Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and desire to succeed
= Ability to maintain confidential and protected healthcare information
Skills Desired (but not required):
= 1+ years as a legal assistant or in a legal setting
= Legal client database experience
= Experience with medicolegal work, such as obtaining protected health information from healthcare providers and summarizing medical records
