The Staff Accountant II is responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and entry of financial data related to Accounts Receivable and Grant Reporting.  This position works closely with the Finance Director and program directors to coordinate these resources in accordance with GAAP standards and maintain compliance with funding entities. 

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or similar plus 3-5 years’ experience
• Knowledge of General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable Grants (preferred),
• Commitment to high professional ethical standards within the department and the agency
• High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
• Ability to prioritize with good time management skill
• Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality
• Advanced Excel skills and proficient with Microsoft Office
