Them of Event: How to Manage Your Work/Life Balance to Become Your Truest Self

Join us for our 2021 Women’s Summit to hear from Erin Engelke and Linda Clark about how we all can manage our work/life balance better. As women, we always have many hats to put on each day. Spend a day with us at Gaillardia Country Club learning how to lead a joyful, fulfilled life and to take comparison out of the equation.                  

 

Morning Keynote Speaker: Erin Engelke        

Erin Engelke is the 2020 Mrs. Oklahoma and the Executive Director of Calm Waters, Oklahoma City’s grief center that serves children and families who have experienced loss due to death, divorce, or other significant loss. Erin is passionate about empowering working moms to resist the pull to achieve work-life balance, instead to seek a fulfilled life. A graduate of Oklahoma Christian University, Erin serves as Past President of PRSA, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for The Christian Chronicle, past president of the Association of Women in Communications, and is an active member of the Junior League of Oklahoma City. Erin’s greatest pride is her family – her husband, son, and two daughters.                  

Afternoon Keynote Speaker: Linda Clark        

A performance strategist with a finger on the pulse of the challenging conversations teams and individuals face around the language of leadership, Linda focuses on values-driven performance, active feedback, and outcomes. In demand as a keynote and workshop speaker, her humorous storytelling encourages participation and inclusivity in audiences ranging from undergraduates to C-Suite executives and Boards. She combines deep experience in human resources, with a passionate approach to service to deliver thoughtful programs that center exploration, adventure, vibrancy, and challenge as a path to success. She’s an adjunct leadership professor at the University of Central Oklahoma, and a recognized HR industry leader holding positions on the OKHR State Council and Oklahoma Metro Employers’ Council. Her certifications include SPHR, SHRM-SCP, and Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator. A self-described performance locksmith (and leadership nerd!), she helps organizations, teams and individuals liberate curiosity and confidence on the path to innovation and creativity.

RSVP Required; Cost: $75 for members; $90 for Non-members & Late Registrations

 

$800 for a sponsored table of 8, $500 for a booth sponsorship (comes with 2 tickets and display space for your business ) 

 

$25 for virtual Zoom option – this option is listen only and participants will not be able to be seen

Registration: 9:30-10:00am

 

Welcome: 10:00am

 

The Edmond Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit, 501 (C) 6, organization. As such, every program and event organized by the Chamber must be mindful of its budget. Due to our committed food and beverage numbers, an RSVP obligates you to payment unless you adhere to the guidelines listed below.  

 

Event Cancellation & Refund Policy

 

The Edmond Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to refuse/cancel registrations. If the Edmond Chamber refuses a registration, registrants will be offered a refund.

 

Event Cancellation by Chamber

 

The Edmond Chamber reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If the Edmond Chamber cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

 

Registration Cancellation by Participant

 

The deadline to receive a refund for an individual ticket is one week before the event. The deadline to receive a refund for table sponsorships or program sponsorships is one month before the event. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refunds will be issued by check. These above policies apply to all Edmond Chamber events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly. To cancel your registration, please email the staff member in charge of the event.
