The Enterprise Chamber of Commerce Military & Veterans Affairs Committee, in coordination with the City of Enterprise, with lead from the Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs), honors the sacrifices of First Responders and Uniformed Personnel during the World Trade Center Towers and Pentagon attacks, as well as Flight 93 crash in Pennsylvania resulting from a coordinated terrorist attacks and the following continuous ‘War on Terror’.
The Patriot Day Memorial Ceremony will begin at 7:30 a.m. with Guest Speaker Col. Richard P. Tucker, USAACE and Fort Novosel Chief of Staff, followed by a symbolic ringing of the bell at 7:46 a.m. & concluding with the laying of the wreaths at 7:50 a.m.
On September 11, Patriot Day gives all of us time to reflect on the devastating terror attacks that took nearly 3,000 lives. We commemorate those who we lost and give thanks to the brave first responders who put their lives on the line.
