Introducing Power Hour, a new initiative from the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce designed to bring in specialized speakers who will address pressing topics to empower local businesses. This event will take place quarterly, and this month, we are excited to welcome Cassidy Longcrier. Cassidy is the co-founder of Sustainable Soul and, together with her husband, the proud new owner of Good2CU, a marketing agency focused on empowering small businesses. She will be collaborating with the Chamber to deliver a two-part series on Canva that aims to enhance attendees' branding and design skills. Whether you're a beginner or someone looking to refine your expertise, these engaging, hands-on classes will boost your confidence and creativity! Part 1: Beginner-Level (January) In this session, you'll discover the fundamentals of Canva, including how to navigate the platform, utilize templates, and apply essential design principles such as color schemes, font selection, and layout techniques. By the end of this workshop, you’ll be equipped to create eye-catching social media posts, flyers, and more. Part 2: Advanced-Level (April) Elevate your design skills in this advanced session where you will learn how to leverage branding kits, explore design tips, and utilize time-saving tools.
