Dede Allender was hired by CGS Services in 2012, to be the Education Coordinator for the Hancock County Solid Waste Manangement District (HCSWMD).  In 2020, CGS Services was purchased by Waste Manangement.  Waste Management decided not to renew this agreement with the HCSWMD.  In the summer of 2021, Dede was hired by the HCSWMD directly as the Director and Educator.

 In 2021, the HCSWMD was rebranded and is now Recycle Hancock County.
