The Pine City Civic Center (PCCC) was built in 1999 through community donations and local business support. The building is owned and maintained by the non-profit Pine City Civic Center Association. Many of today’s board members were part of the original building project and budgeting team 20+ years ago. The PCCC is utilized as an ice arena in partnership with the Pine City School District (high school hockey and physical education usage), the City of Pine City (summer rec program uses PCCC as back-up indoor location), Pine City Youth Hockey (approximately 200+ youth hockey players), Hinckley Youth Hockey, North Branch Youth Hockey, and offers weekly open skate and open hockey times for the community as well.

The 2024 Pine City Farmer’s Market season will begin on Friday, June 14, 2024, and end on Saturday, October 26, 2024. It is held every Friday and Saturday from 11am – 1pm, with the exception of Freedom Fest & Pine County Fair weekend. The Market is held on the Pine County Fairgrounds property along Old Hwy 61.
Interested vendors should review the updated handbook & complete an application if interested in being part of the Market.

The Pine County Agricultural Board, better known as the Fair Board, has been organizing the annual event for over 125 years.

Pine County Northern Lights Lions was chartered in Pine County, MN in June 2024. This diverse service club is focusing their efforts on environmental preservations and community service for the area.
This club meetings monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. Meeting locations vary.

Pine EMS is an all volunteer first responder organization originally organized in Pine City, MN in 2009.

The Pokegama Lake Association is a non-profit organization comprised of residents and businesses with a vested interest in the environmental impact on the local lake. The organization funds a variety of projects each year in these categories: environmental, education or civic/humanitarian.
The Association annual projects include: lake research, weed harvesting, fish stocking, shoreline restoration, water quality testing, and the fresh water fair for 5th grade students.

A conservation club that is dedicated to enhance wildlife & fisheries habitat. The club offers a $1,000 scholarship to students interested in conservation, wildlife, fisheries, or gunsmithing. The Club does a variety of service and fundraising efforts including: assisting with firearms safety training or requests for assistance from the DNR; sponsor for the local ice fishing contest, gun raffle and displays at the Pine County Fair, and maintains the Wildlife Management Area west of Pine City.
The Snake River Valley Conservation Club members meeting monthly on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM. Meetings are held in the SRVCC building on the Pine County Fairgrounds when weather permits. Winter location is across the road in the VFW Building.
Supporting Our Students mission is to support students of Pine City Public Schools when other means have been exhausted. This support will include food, clothing, school supplies, holiday gifts and other items as deemed appropriate by the Board of Directors.
There are currently 3 projects operating as part of this organization: the PC Parents 4 Grads senior recognition project, the Dragon Food Shelf, and the Mary Murphy Fund.

University of Minnesota Extension is making a difference by connecting community needs and University resources to address critical issues in Minnesota.
Locally-based staff support Pine County through building youth development opportunities, strengthening local food and sustainable agriculture, promoting responsible lawn and garden practices, protecting natural resources, and creating healthier families.
Extension is the front door to the University for all Minnesotans, providing tools and resources for building the future they envision.
