McMinnville Area Habitat for HumanityÆs mission is to bring people together to build homes, community, and hope. We envision a community where everyone has a safe, decent, affordable place to live.
Founded in 1991, McMinnville Area Habitat for Humanity (MacHabitat) provides homeownership opportunities to low-income families in the McMinnville area through the construction of safe, decent, and affordable homes. Our vision is a community where substandard housing is a thing of the past, and we are committed to working with families throughout Yamhill County. During the past 30 years, we have built 64 homes in McMinnville, Amity, Lafayette, Sheridan, and Willamina.
Our volunteers and donor partners are people who lead with their hearts. They care deeply about their neighbors and community members and work hard to affect positive change. They bring people together to partner with hardworking families in building affordable homes and a vibrant community.
