For those that don't know us, my name is Kristi Brantley. My husband Monte and I own From the Heart, By the Hand.

We do sewing, mending and alterations, specializing in Memory Bears and other Memory items like Horses, Deer and Pillows. All from our home north of Weatherford, Texas.

Monte and I were both born and raised in Weatherford.

Between us, we have 5 grown children, 3 grand children, and a new grandbaby on the way.

We have both owned multiple businesses in and around Weatherford, and currently still own a Commerical and Residential Cleaning company as well as have an antique booth in a local Antique mall, and sell our goods from a couple of local boutiques in town, including homemade goat milk soaps, homemade jams and most recently Rada knives and kitchen goods.

in 2022, Monte sold his long time business, and retired from over 35 years in the feed and hay industry.

Since then, he has helped me run our cleaning company, as well as been my right hand man in the sewing room.

Having sewn most of my life, I rekindled my love for the art by sewing masks during Covid, and helping teach the local 4-H Fashion Project group from 2017-2023.

Since then, word got out that I offered the service and we have grown exponentially.

I am so thankful for our many loyal and returning customers, that continue to refer their friends and family to us.

It means a lot to us, that so many trust us to help with their sewing needs, whether for hemming their jeans, or turning their late grandmothers house coat into a lasting memory with a Pillow or Memory Bear.
