About
The Bluejay App is a two-way interface designed to allow law enforcement officers and community drivers to engage before face-to-face interactions during traffic stops. It grants both parties a chance to humanize each other as well as share important information, reducing tension and mitigating the risk of negative escalation. Although the technology is meant to be utilized across the community and improve community-police relations, there is additional value for persons who are deaf or autistic or have other conditions that may prevent them from communicating with law enforcement in the way the officers are expecting.

"The Guthrie News Leader regularly partners with the chamber as our goals are the same: connect businesses to the community. We not only enjoy attending the events the chamber presents, but also co-sponsoring events together.
