Casey will oversee the day-to-day operations of our shelter, thrift shop, administrative team, and spay/neuter clinic, as well as leading our staff through a seamless transition as she assumes her new responsibilities. With a background spanning veterinary clinics, shelters, and animal advocacy nonprofits, her passion for improving the lives of animals is evident. Currently completing a graduate program in animal shelter leadership, Casey is fully committed to making a meaningful impact. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, spending quality time with her family (including her two dogs and three rabbits!), and exploring new restaurants.
As Casey steps into her role, we also extend our deep gratitude to Ronnie Vostinak, who has served as our Executive Director since November 2016. Ronnie's positive impact on our organization has been profound, and she will assume the role of President/CEO until the successful completion of the new shelter/administrative building. In tandem with facilitating a smooth transition plan with Casey, Ronnie will oversee the organization's budget, fundraising efforts for our new shelter building, and ensure precise planning and execution throughout the building's completion. Ronnie will retire to enjoy the next chapter of her life once the building is finished.
