(Pontiac, MI -) Artificial Intelligence,
or AI, is seemingly everywhere nowadays. It is here to stay, so learning about
AI is critical for business owners, professionals and anyone in the corporate
sphere.
Leadership Oakland recognizes this and
our Feb. 6 Breakfast of Champions event will focus on AI. Entitled Navigating
the AI Landscape: Balancing Innovation, Ethics, and Efficiency at Walsh
College, this session will begin a conversation that will lead to learning and
growth.
“We are excited to bring this timely and relevant topic of AI to our current LO class, alumni, and community” said Susan Hollady, Executive Director of Leadership Oakland. “AI is something that will impact our professionals for years to come, and the new year is a great time to kick off learning about it – in a relevant and engaging way.”
According to Forbes Magazine, the AI market will hit $400
billion by 2027. And more than 75 percent of consumers are concerned about
misinformation from AI. In addition, about a quarter of companies are adopting
AI due to labor shortages and there is concern that AI will cause job loss in
the coming years.
The Breakfast of Champions event will be
from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 6 at Walsh College in Troy. Tickets are
$35 for LOAA members and $45 for the general public. To purchase tickets, visit https://www.leadershipoakland.com/events/.
