TROY, Mich., July 26, 2022 - Todd
Piersol, executive vice president, is pleased to announce that
Brown & Brown of Detroit, Inc. has named Michael
Rutkowski as a commercial lines agent for the agency.
In this role, effective July 18, 2022, Rutkowski’s primary focus will be commercial insurance risk management and market development for Brown & Brown in Metro Detroit and surrounding areas in Michigan. In addition, he will work closely with all agency stakeholders, including Brown & Brown leadership, the sales team, customer service and insurance carrier representatives.
Rutkowski
will draw upon his 13 years of experience in the insurance industry, where
he has specialized in insurance and risk management for family-owned
businesses.

Rutkowski
holds property and casualty and life and health insurance licenses, and
graduated from Ferris
State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He is involved in the
local community as the president of Utica Eisenhower Athletic Boosters. He
resides in Shelby Township, Michigan, with his wife Amanda and his two
children, Gavin and Peyton.
