Veteran Free Day & Blue Star Museum Program Begins on Saturday, May 20 at the La Porte County Historical Society Museum!

To honor Armed Forces Day, all veterans and active duty military are welcome to come to the museum free of charge on Saturday, May 20th.
For free admission, a form of ID is required to show that you are a veteran or active military member. Acceptable forms of ID include: Affairs Card, Indiana Veterans Card, VFW, American Legion, and Driver's License with Veterans ID.

The Blue Star Museum Program also begins on Armed Forces Day!
The La Porte County Historical Society Museum is a participant in the Blue Star Museum program! Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and thousands of museums across the country to offer Free Admission to currently serving military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve!
