James has won multiple performance awards, both domestically and internationally and is a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians as well as the Society of American Magicians.

Canterbury Theatre will present Magically Ever After, a family-friendly special event starring award-winning magician, James Songster, for three performances, October 28-30, as part of its Winter Arts Series.     Songster has been entertaining families and visitors in the Orlando area for over 25 years. He performs over 300 shows each year for various audiences including corporate events, cruise lines, and since 2010, has headlined his own resident show at the Sheraton Vistana Resort.     He has won multiple performance awards, both domestically and internationally and is a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians as well as the Society of American Magicians.     According to Songster, each performance lasts approximately an hour, and is an opportunity for audiences of all ages to join in a light-hearted visit to a magical world and to rediscover that forgotten child-like sense of wonder and amazement.     He added, "This is not close-up magic with cards and coins for a few people, nor is it a grand illusion and spectacle for a faceless audience. This is intimate magic, ideally suited for Canterbury Theatre."
