The Meals On Wheels Delaware fundraiser, “Hats & Heels,” is quickly approaching and I am proud to be serving as this year’s Honorary Chair!

I have been involved with many worthwhile organizations over the years. However, when Meals on Wheels Delaware asked me to be their Honorary Chair for this year’s event, I was truly honored! I am excited and humbled to be a part of an event that will raise money for such a worthy cause, 5-meal preparation and delivery programs that feed over 6,200 seniors every weekday.

Surely, we each know someone, either a neighbor, friend, relative, or even ourselves who have benefitted from the meals, service, friendship, and care provided by this great organization.

I am asking that you please save the date of September 22, 2023 and join Meals on Wheels Delaware and me for this year’s Kent County fundraiser. Attendees will enjoy a incredible night of food, beverages, entertainment, plus unique silent auction items. All guests are encouraged to embrace the theme and wear their favorite hat and/or stylish shoes.

I am soliciting your support in accomplishing our fundraising goals. How can you help? There are several ways…. You can donate an auction item, be a sponsor, and/or buy a ticket to join us on Friday, September 22,, 2023 at the Wild Quail Golf and Country Club, located at One Clubhouse Drive, in Camden, DE. Those of you with wine or art collections can also support us by digging deep in your cellars or galleries and donating a cherished item or two for the auction.
