News from Alton Little Theater

The "Star" of ALT's Summer schedule is of course the long-awaited OLIVER, with its vibrant cast and memorable songs. But even in this very HOT weather, the theater group celebrates its 91st Anniversary with a few other incentives for audiences to come out and have some ice cream and Summer FUN!

ALT has many incentives for groups of 20 or more Social/ Friend groups to attend any 91st Season show TOGETHER and receive $2 off admission (upon total payment), with an additional free ticket for any Tour Director/ Bus Driver. Since matinees are often preferred by groups traveling from a distance and then wanting to stop at a local restaurant for dinner, the 91st Season has THREE MATINEES at 2 PM: the FIRST Sunday of any run, and the SECOND SATURDAY and SUNDAY of the run. Performances scheduled for any mainstage show; Discounts for groups also can be applied to Concert Events and Extra, EXTRA Entertainment Events! Just call the Box Office (618-462-3205) and get YOUR Tickets TODAY!

AUDITIONS are now set for every mainstage show through January of 2025 -- and the Season Directors at ALT are ALWAYS looking for new performers to grace the stage! Artistic Director, Kevin Frakes, is committed to fair and open opportunities to get involved with NO Pre-Casting done, EVER!

In addition, ALT is always looking for NEW Program Advertisers and Show Sponsors - and welcomes the opportunity to put a business's full-color ad in front of approximately 5,000 people over the course of the season. Sponsors and advertisers receive season ticket packages as a bonus! Contact Lee Cox, ALT's Executive Director at 618-462-3205.

And not to be remiss, we've got a terrific Season Ticket package for ALL Mainstage Shows, including another Big Musical for just $85 for FIVE Shows. All the extra concerts and the premier of ALT's own ‘ROCKY HORROR the Musical’ are on SALE NOW!

ALT's mission is to ENTERTAIN and BE the Community's Theater that all our citizens take pride in and enjoy again and again! Kevin and Lee are teaching full classes of youth acting in July and will be booking next Summer’s applicants in April of 2025. There are over 80 roles to be cast in the 91st Season, with performers of all ages needed – so ALWAYS check out the website (http://www.altonlittletheater.org).

ALT's expanded Board of Directors each sponsors one "charitable giving" organization each season and their designee is awarded Season Tickets for their fundraiser. Get in touch with Lee Cox, Executive Director (618-462-3205) for more details!
