Tickets are now on sale for ALT’s Oliver A summer of family FUN continues at ALT with the glorious production of Lionel Bart's OLIVER, with 7 performances (3 Matiness and 4 Evening Performances) from August 2 through 11. 

ALT's August production has a cast of 18 local youth talents and 13 veteran adult performers, under the direction of Kevin Frakes, with musical direction by Mary Mahoney and choreography by Orcennio Gaines. ALT's Executive Director, Lee Cox jumped into the FUN to provide costumes, properties and lights. Audiences will LOVE the unique staging, energy, inventiveness, and joy that OLIVER creates. So many new talents came out to audition for the show and newcomers Knox Schell (Oliver), and Finn Kane (Artful Dodger) join Randy Manning (Fagin), Karie Preston (Nancy) and Larry Ingram (Bill Sykes) in taking on the memorable songs like "WHERE IS LOVE", "FOOD, GLORIUS FOOD", "WHO WILL BUY", "AS LONG AS HE NEEDS ME" and 15 other worthy musical numbers all packed into one fantastic show to share and remember again! The themes of the "very rich" ignoring the needs of the less fortunate still mirrors the lessons and values we all still grapple with today. Yes, OLIVER is timeless, and ALT welcomed the opportunity to create a family-friendly BIG Broadway musical to bring to our little River town with a Big Heart! 

Tickets are $18 for youth under 18 and $25 for adults. OLIVER introduces the NEW performance run for the 91st Season, with THREE matinees on August 4th, 10th AND 11 at 2 pm, and evening performances at 7:30 pm on August 2nd, 3rd, 8th, and 9th. They'll be lots of ice cream and opportunities to meet with the cast after the show. Everyone will be delightfully entertained by a Broadway classic that every generation should see and see again!
