This committee handles member initiatives, training, recruitment and retention. Members are considered 'Ambassadors' and frequently greet guests at events and serve to promote the Chamber in the community. Those ambassadors are often paired with new members to help them feel supported and successful. Additionally, ideas for luncheon meeting topics are generated from this committee.

Born and raised in Columbia, MO. Jon played college football for a season at Southeast Missouri State Univeristy then transferred to Evangel Univeristy before starting his insurance career with Aflac in 2005 in Springfield, MO. Jon ran agencies for Aflac in Houston TX, Nashville, TN, and Overland Park, KS over 15 years, earning 7 National conventon Qualifications and hiring, developing, and training over 900 insurance agents over that time. In 2022 Jon accepted a position as Regional Director of Sales for Globe Life out of McKinney, TX. After years of travel the opportunity came up to take over a 47 year insurance agency in Belton, MO getting to be closer to home excited Jon, and he jumped at the chance to run his own small business in our community. He's been the proud owner of his agency in Belton since July of 2023 and insures over 500 Kansas City area families.
