MAYOR SEEKS
RESIDENTS INTERESTED IN JOINING MW&L COMMISSION
MCMINNVILLE, OR — Are you interested
in serving your community by making important budget and policy decisions
related to water, electric and fiber service for the residents of McMinnville? If
so, this opportunity is for you!
Mayor Remy Drabkin is seeking residents
interested in joining the McMinnville Water and Light Commission. The mayor
will review the applications and appoint a new commissioner, who will serve a
4-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2025.
Since 1905, McMinnville Water and
Light has been governed under the City Charter by a five-member commission,

serve a vital role by representing the community to McMinnville Water and Light
and by representing MW&L to the community. Board members learn about the
inner workings of MW&L and assure the success of the utility by approving
plans that align with its mission, vision, policies and strategic goals.
