NorthCare is looking for qualified applicants like you to join our Urgent Recovery Center (URC) team located in Guthrie.

URC is a place of stabilization providing an emergency assessment and intensive support for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis.  The URC setting allows individuals 18 and over to de-escalate from a crisis state in a safe therapeutic environment. This position is not eligible to work remotely.

Position at a glance:

  • Sign on Bonus $2500
  • Starting wage range $27 an hour with night shift differential
  •  (12 hour) Shift 7pm-7am;minimum 4 weekend days worked a month 3.5 days on/ 3.5 days off. 
  • Shift Differential of $1/hr from 6p-10p and $2/hr from 10p-6a

Requirements

Qualifications

Candidate/employee must be licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Oklahoma and have successfully completed a LPN curriculum from an accredited institution. 

This position requires a high degree of flexibility and efficiency.  Must display proficiency in the MS Word processing software and intermediate general computer skills. Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally with English-speaking patients.  Must be able to move about facilities freely. Employee must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Casual professional dress is required with adherence to dress code requirements.   

Must have access to reliable transportation and travel may be required.  Must possess and provide verification of valid Oklahoma driver’s license during employment with NorthCare. Must maintain and provide verification of current automobile liability insurance including uninsured motorist coverage.  Must have and/or complete all required trainings within 30 days of employment with NorthCare Must have TB test within 12 months prior to employment with NorthCare, or obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare.
