OVERVIEW:
As a Public Health Case Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of the public health department. Your
responsibilities will include providing administrative support, connecting clients to services, and supporting billing for public
health programs. You will help ensure the smooth implementation of public health initiatives by overseeing program eligibility
and intake, verifying insurance coverage and proper documentation, and monitoring community resources that would benefit
clients. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key to maintaining accurate records, tracking insurance
eligibility and documentation, and supporting the overall public health department. By providing crucial administrative
support, you will contribute to the wellbeing of our community through effective public health service delivery. Join us in

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
§ Provides initial client contact; explaining program policies, procedures, referring clients to other programs that they
may be eligible for (both in community and other agencies). Performs and assists associates with entering client
data into state information systems. Transfers and reconciles data between various computer systems to ensure
consistency of data and proper service delivery. Maintains unit files; collects data for required reports. Participates
in community outreach events. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED, preferred to have experience working with healthcare and/or insurance billing, or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license
