The Head Volleyball Coach (HC) will be responsible for facilitating the academic, athletic, and overall growth of every Volleyball student-athlete. Additionally, the coach will work closely with the Athletic Director (AD) to continually assess and elevate the program’s status in the areas of academics, recruiting, budget tracking and reporting, fundraising, equipment ordering, marketing/public relations, sports medicine, strength and conditioning, departmental compliance, and alumni engagement. The HC develops and directs recruiting efforts, academic and non-academic counseling/advising, National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) compliance, program budgeting and coaching of student-athletes in Volleyball. The HC works in collaboration with the Athletic Department in driving campus culture for the entire student body and fellow team members of LCCC.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in the development of student-athletes at a high school, collegiate, or professional level which may include assistant coaching experience.
- Experience in recruiting and the development of athletic programs.
- Experience with the development of academic aspirations for student-athletes.
