concert, as Cliburn Kids On The Road presents "WHAT MAKES A HERO?" at
Chandor Gardens.
Chandor Gardens Foundation Inc. is honored to be
collaborating with The Cliburn to offer its music education program Cliburn
Kids on the Road for elementary school age children (6 to 12 years
old) on Thursday, March 20, 2025 in the Great Room of the Chandor
house at Chandor Gardens, 711 W. Lee Ave, Weatherford, TX from 11:00
A.M. to Noon.
If you are looking for a fun interactive activity for your
child during spring break this, is it. Plus, class participants and their
family members are welcome to explore Chandor Gardens after the class.
The theme for this event is "What Makes A Hero?"
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a pianist?! A musical conversation about heroes, from caped comic book characters to heroes we meet in everyday life; told through the lens of how Van Cliburn used the superpower of music to connect people around the world.
