Pine County Master Gardeners present the 21st annual Horticulture Day. Registration will include keynote presentation, breakout sessions, morning refreshments, door prizes, and time to visit our garden marketplace exhibitors.

“Resilient Landscaping” will be the keynote presentation by Laura Irish-Hanson, University of Minnesota Extension Educator for Resilient Managed Horticultural Landscapes.
Join Laura Irish-Hanson as she provides guidance on landscaping alternatives, including information on assessing your current garden and options for transitioning your landscape to be more sustainable. Examples of pollinator and edible gardens, and traditional lawn alternatives will be presented.
Breakout sessions will include:

- Biodiversity in a Patch of Goldenrods, presented by Larry Weber, naturalist, educator, and author
- Growing Vining Crops in your Home Garden, presented by Dianne Patras-Smith, Chisago County Master Gardener

- Home Composting: It's not Rocket Science, presented by Lynda Bennett, Pine County Master Gardener

Advance registration by March 28: $27 with lunch; $19 without lunch
Registration after March 28: $22, available at the event. Lunch is not included.
