Why would I use a drone to spray my crops?
Spraying by unmanned aerial vehicle provides a host of benefits to the applicator as a result of being able to apply chemical treatments in ways that were previously not possible.

Can I apply anything other than pesticides with a drone?

Yes. There are a number of other uses for an agricultural drone aside from just pesticide application.

Using a granular spreader, you can do anything from applying fertilizer, to scattering grass seed, to dispersing beneficial insects. It has even been suggested that drones could be used as a scarecrow of sorts, frightening away birds and other less traditional pests.

In 2022, we decided to change our name to demonstrate our commitment to our entire service area, and began searching for locations to expand our branch network.

In 2023, Embold Credit Union was born. Our name is new, but the important things remain the same — our commitment to serving our members and our communities.

Through all of the changes in our story, some things have remained constant. We’re proud to have a volunteer Board of Directors elected from the membership.
