On June 15th, The Upper Great Lakes Chapter of the National Scleroderma Foundation will be hosting a Stampede and Carnival to benefit the Scleroderma community. The event will consist of a one mile walk, a 5K and carnival games for the entire family to enjoy.
The chapter is offering a unique sponsorship opportunity for the Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma - Detroit Stampede & Carnival in Troy. Rather than simply giving dollars and receiving recognition, we want you to participate in our carnival! Each sponsor will create a simple game that highlights your business and brings fresh eyes to your products and services. There will be tents stationed around the Troy High School Track. Over 500 participants will be on hand to play the fun carnival games. The more fun you make it, the better! Providing information or discount coupons about your business is encouraged. Participants can win prizes for posting pictures of your chosen game and business information on social media. Partcipants will also win prizes for winning their game. Below are a few ideas on what types of games you could provide.
The National Scleroderma Foundation team is ready to work with you to help develop the perfect game to highlight your business! There are multiple sponsorship levels to allow any business, regardless of size, to participate.
Game ideas are bowling, Ladder Rung Toss, Leap Frog, Water Gun Race, Balloon Shoot, Ring Toss, Ping Pong Ball Toss, Rocket Blast, Duck Races, etc.
When tailoring a game to your business, think rain gutters, water, plastic ducks and straws. This would be great for a roofing company or a construction company.
Ladder Rung Toss could be a real ladder, balls connected by a string. Great for a construction company, handy man, etc.
For a bowling alley, make pins out of 2 liter bottles (or use old pins) and bowl with a ball or maybe a coconut or melon.
Let your imagination run wild. The games don't have to have a twist. Just concentrate on fun!
