Premier Pet Supply and Feline Fund partner to Save Metro Detroit Cats
February 1st, 2024 – Troy, MI: Michigan based pet company, Premier Pet Supply and nonprofit Feline Fund are partnering for the second year in a row. In 2023, Premier Pet Supplies presented Feline Fund with a check totaling over $12,100 that was raised by their employees and customers. This donation funded the care for over 240 cats throughout 2023.
This fundraising partnership comes at the perfect time, as February is National Cat Health Month. Donations will be accepted from February-April. Premier Pet Supplies customers will have the opportunity to donate to Feline Fund at the register. Customers can donate in increments of $1, $5, $10, or $20. Additionally, there will be the option to “round-up” your total and donate your change to Feline Fund. Donors will be able to sign their name on the Feline Fund tag and proudly have it displayed in store, showing off their love for cats. Furthermore, additional information and photographs of cats saved in previous years will be displayed near the registers in numerous stores.
After a successful collaboration in previous years, this partnership is continuing to ensure more cats are able to receive lifesaving veterinary services. This care is aimed towards TNR, which includes, spay/neuter, lifesaving vaccines, rabies shot, and access to additional veterinary care. The goal for this campaign is to beat the previous number and save even more Metro Detroit strays.

Donations are being accepted at all 13 Premier Pet Supplies locations beginning February 1st and ending on April 30th.

Feline Fund is a nonprofit organization with a dedication to helping local rescues fund veterinary care for cats in need, with 100% of funding going to provide care. These donations cover a variety of veterinary services including spays, neuters, immunizations, and other emergency related services for feral cats living on the streets, rescued cats, and owned cats in need of care where financial means are an obstacle.
